OMG, you're so adorable. I woke up to see happy kids' faces with magnificent patriotic parfaits. So cute and fun!!

And uuuggggh, why didn"t I see THIS recipe for satay?? Ron and I used a random recipe and were disappointed. Too vinegary and not rich and delicious like yours! mmmmm.

Aww thanks! Nothin like strawberries, cake, and cream to make 'em smile! I'll tell you, I got that recipe for satay from another blog and I love it. It's always a hit. Really easy, and I usually have all the ingredients on hand. A warning though: If you grill it, the peanut butter burns just a little. You have to watch it. Would be great on pork :) Hope your holiday was great!!

This parfait is a splendid idea! I love it when cake bits are added to parfaits! Nothing else can top that! lol. Happy July the 4th to you too!

They were :) Course they probably would have been pretty happy with the bowl of whipped cream and a spoon, too.
