Manic Monday
I know I usually post some links to funny things in my Manic Monday posts, but this weekend I a)didn't have anything funny right in the front of my brain that I knew I needed to share right off and b)am still in the throes of my weekend happy good time and it hasn't really dawned on me yet that Monday is happening. Sorry.
We went out this weekend to celebrate my sister's birthday at a little neighborhood bar and grill. The food was awesome, the atmosphere was accommodating, and there was enough bustle that no one noticed my children arm wrestling at the table while we waited for our food. Not pictured here (because I've never asked their express permission to post random photos): one sister, one brother, and my brother-in-law {you all made for most excellent weekend fun!!!}.
I finally found a good solution for storing my cookware in my tiny and ever more crowded kitchen. Thanks, IKEA! Also--- did you notice my kids being really weird outside the window in this photo?
Since I've had the windows propped open, Norma Jean has taken to bird watching. She's really into it. The only problem is that the birds can see Norma, too. So they spend lots of time yelling at her through the window. I don't know about you, but I think she looks worried.
What I need to remember while I'm working this week. And all the time.
